Experimentalism at its best as the Multiples team starts looking closely at Granular synthesis to provide some pleasing yet eerie samples.Padded Cell is a collection of Pad sounds created with the Aetheriser in Absynth 5 and aims to provide pads useful for any type of music but also for video game and movie soundtracks.The pack comes with 40 raw pad sounds out of the box and is complemented by 40 further sounds that have been glitched and distorted through NI Guitar Rig in order to serve up the most unique sound design palette possible.

The art of random atmosphere is the order of the day with Padded Cell 2.
We spent alot of time creating very random atmospheres before running them through our favourite effect plugins to serve up the best atmospheres we could find.
The pack comes in 4 different sound types, as follows:

1. Raw waveforms
2. Filtered waveforms
3. Reverberated waveforms
4. Amped waveforms

I used DevineSounds Grain Cube granular synthesiser and played the randomness in live by pressing the buttons throughout the synths architecture.I used my own samplemaps of the previous Padded Cell download and the drumloops from E|Drums 3.0 to provide the sounds to be mangled.NB: This pack has been created with randomness in mind and therefore doesn’t always have a sound at the start, sometimes it is just silence. However, I believe once you insert the sounds into your work you will be able to cut it up as you see fit.

Multiples Presents Padded Cell 03
Another World see’s a different approach to creating pads and sounds for your background mixes.
We took 50 brand new drum loops created by T2D and then transposed them down until they were running at their slowest tempo and then ran them through Guitar Rig. I think you’ll be surprised at what you get.
50 sample files for you to use and abuse in a download worth 449mb of hard drive space. Each sample is 32 bars long.
NB: some of these sounds will be rhythmic in quality seeing as we have used drumloops to make the sounds. All samples have been recorded at 125bpm.
