Arctican release of Native Linux VST

The Function 1.0.0 Free VST AU WIN & MAC

Fix recordings with phase and pan issues with a free VST plugin

Arctican have announced the release of Native Linux 32-bit and 64-bit VST and standalone versions of The Pilgrim and The Function.
The Pilgrim is a filter ideal for both live and studio situations. It has a high-pass and low-pass filter programmed into one dial, and allows a seamless sweep between the two. It works similar to the ‘Pioneer DJM’ mixers, albeit with a little extra functionality: a wet/dry dial which can also be used as a basic equaliser/shelf filter. The frequency pass range is from 60Hz (lowpass) to 19kHz (highpass).
Features:
  • Low CPU usage.
  • Easy to use.
  • Fully automatable.
  • HP/LP/Shelf filter and basic EQ in 2 dials.
  • Perfect for live use.
The Function can manipulate a stereo signal giving complete control over the output. Each channel (left & right) can be manipulated in many different ways. You can pan each channel to either speaker, and invert the phase. You can also independently adjust the gain for each channel. This is very useful for dodgy recordings with phase and pan issues.
These Linux versions were ported by the team at DISTRHO.
The Pilgrim and The Function are freeware.
